Granby Jazz Ensemble

The Granby Jazz Ensemble is open to students who play saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and rhythm instruments such as drum set, guitar, piano, and bass.  The ensemble meets one day a week after school beginning when marching season ends.  The group has performed in and around the school at various functions including the senior citizens prom, the honors banquet, and other events such as the NPS Retirement Dinner, the District Jazz Festival, and on regular concerts.  The group allows creative students the opportunity to solo and improvise, as well as to learn the basic fundamentals of jazz.
