The purpose of the Granby Band Parents Association (GBPA) is to further the interest of the GHS band program, and to aid in any way necessary to keep them an outstanding musical organization. We do this through organizing and assisting with fundraising activities, assisting the band director in any way possible and encouraging active participation of the band with the community and other organizations within Granby High School. Membership is open to any adult with an interest in the GHS band, regardless of having a child in the program. There are two types of membership available: Dues paying and Non-Dues paying. Dues of $10 are only paid once per school year. Non-Dues paying members may attend meetings, but will not be allowed to vote on motions presented at the meetings. There are several committees within the association that members may join if they so desire, without having to pay additional dues.
